Bollo (Tobias Bolliger) ist ein Designer aus Bern. Die Arbeit bewegt sich zwischen Art Direction und Design von visuellen Identitäten, Plakaten, Typografie, bewegten wie interaktiven Medien und Webseiten im Bereich der Kunst und der Kultur.

Nebst Kollaborationen mit Designer*innen realisiert Studio Bollo Projekte in interdisziplinären Formaten mit Kunstschaffenden und Musikern*innen. Olivia Hingley von ItsNiceThat beschreibt die Einflüsse von Musik und Rhythmus in der Arbeit von Bollo wie folgt: «It’s this experimental use of typography – plus the way the designer uses lettering to create shapes and forms – that defines his music-centered practice. But, with this conceptual approach, there is another key element to Tobias’ work, and that’s to ‹deform› typography, essentially making its primary purpose of legibility redundant.»
